Apple To Launch Mac App Store December 13?

Up until now, it is fair to say that Apple fans accessing the App store have been more than impressed with the service. Today, news has come through that on December 13th, just a week or so away, the tech giants are planning to include Mac users into the equation.

If we just turn our thoughts to the “Back to the Mac” event which took place October 20th, an announcement was made to launch this new addition within 90 days. On the basis that the Mac App Store will now happen, the Mac’s will need to be updated to OS X 10.6.6.

According to MacRumors via Appletell, with Apple already seeding the new OS version, it has told it’s developers to get their apps ready, so instead of releasing these late January 2011, the push is to get them out before Christmas.
