Check Out The DJ In U With iPad’s “Djay” App

Are you one of those people that remember “scratching the vinyl,” thinking that maybe you would yourself become a top DJ one day. News has come through today that a new app available on Apple’s iPad tablet may make this more of a reality, something that music group “Gorillaz,” have used themselves to produce their new album.

The new “Djay” app can be purchased for $20 and on appearance, resembles a DJ set-up with two turn tables and a mixer, giving you options to mix up different tracks, adjusting the music’s tempo and automatic beat. Also to make your set more interesting, is the option of visual mixing your tracks sourced from your iPad’s array of music, along with seeing the music beats strumming up and down with audio waveforms.

To carry the night on without any glitches, as Blake at Mashable reported, the app gives you an auto-cut scratching feature along with an “Automix” mode allowing the app to pick out the tracks for you and automatically spin them.

What do you think about the new Djay App? Do you fancy yourself as the new Damon Albarn? Why not try it out and let us know what you think. To find out more on this head on over to Mashable.
