Find a Missing Person With Social Media: It Works

A very alarming number of children “go missing” every day, in the U.S the figures are staggering, over 2,100 per day, 1 every 40 seconds. That is an immense amount of kids! The numbers can be doctored to look a little less if you bring in the number of kids that return home safe as well as family abductions.

Well today I was reading the article by Koka Sexton regarding a young lady named Stephanie Cudd from Pacheco. She went missing on November 28th and hasn’t actually been heard from since. Whether she ran away or was abducted is irrelevant, the important part of the article is using social media to help find her.

There is a Facebook page that has been setup which you can “Like” and help to join the search and if you have seen or heard anything from Stephanie Cudd then you can also visit the official webpage here. It is a really great cause people so please do support this.

One of the bad things about having the Facebook page that Koka has expressed was after a few hours the number of “Trolls” that had posted random things on the page. It took some time to clear up but as Koka points out it is really unbelievable that people would do something like that on a missing person page… unbelievable… have a read of the article here.

Have you seen Stephanie since her disappearance? Let us know in the comments below.
