Droid X With Windows Mobile 6.5 Over Android: Another Fake

Well I don’t know about you but I have seen a few Verizon Droid X phones that are bogus phoney’s, they are fakes. Well there’s a new fake on the block. Herman Lai has reported a Verizon Droid X Clone.

For starters it is running on Windows Mobile 6.5 instead of Android, I can’t see that happening. So let’s have a look at the rest of the specs and features so that you too can decide upon it. It has a 4.3” touch screen with multi-touch functionality, WiFi, Bluetooth, light sensor and an 8 mega pixel camera capable of HD recording and it also has dual LED’s to allow picture taking in low quality lighting. Not only that but it also has facial recognition.

All in all it looks like a good phone but it isn’t exactly what we would expect from the Droid X. Surely it has to be running Android’s OS to make it even worth thinking about. I mean since the launch of Windows Mobile they have been facing a difficult task in breaking into an intense market that has few successful survivors, of which Android has become one. You can read more about this fake and see a video of it being used (in Chinese) by clicking here.

Let me know your thoughts on this clone in the comments below.

I have been using a Win Mobile 6 smartphone that looks like an Iphone for 3 years now. The OS is licensed, same as all the software. It doesn't brand Iphone and there is no Apple logo. If the casing looks like an Iphone (or Droid X), it's fake? GET OUT OF HERE! Most cars on the road look alike too. Why don't you yell FAKE?!

Sick of this America good, China bad BS!
