HTC Merge Accessories: Still No Handset

We’ve been hearing news leaking about the HTC Merge handset coming out on Verizon and although it has still not officially been announced it was briefly spotted listed on a Verizon website but swiftly pulled off again, leading many to think it must be near to release.

It’s believed to be the first Android world phone for Verizon (CDMA and GSM), and the speculation is that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, along with an 800MHz processor, according to Ross Miller over on Engadget, sourced from Droid Forums. The default search engine is thought to be Bing and the Merge also has a 5-megapixel camera and a screen size of around 3.7”.

The phone has still not been announced even though HTC Merge accessories have now been spotted, such as a Body Glove snap on cover, although true to form that’s also not available yet. Quite why the HTC Merge is still being kept a mystery is anybody’s guess but we hope we’ll see an official announcement soon.
