Nokia Tablet: Carrier deals may suffer because of dented reputation

Nokia may be in trouble with its upcoming tablet device because of recent poor showing with its new products. In fact so much so that it may find it difficult to find carriers willing to pick up the new tablet for distribution.

At least that’s what one tech expert feels, Eldar Murtazin, who says that Nokia are now unable to compete with the products from such companies as HTC and Samsung, according to Tony Crammond over on Know Your Mobile. Recent releases from Nokia have failed to set the world alight and technically flawed goods, such as the N8 smartphone and also failure to meet deadlines have certainly dented the company’s reputation.

Also with the iOS and Android operating systems being so prominent Nokia’s products are not helped by its reliance on Symbian OS, which could soon be overtaken in popularity. However Crammond points out that Murtazin and Nokia do not see eye-to-eye after Nokia and he fell out in rather spectacular style earlier in the year because of Murtazin leaking product details.

However he may just be right that Nokia’s upcoming tablet might be slighted by carriers. For more on this go to knowyourmobile.com. What do you think about this? We’d like to know so please feel free to send us your comments.
