Apple’s Black Friday Sale Now Live Down Under

Today is Thanksgiving Day and that can only mean one thing, that tomorrow is Black Friday, the day the stores go crazy with sales, offers and deals. Some Black Friday sales are also available online and luckily the Apple Black Friday Sale is one of these and has already begun down under. The prices of deals in Australia may give us some guidance to what we can expect in other parts of the world.

Although the savings aren’t exactly as massive as some other Black Friday sales, they’re still worth having and Stan Schroeder over on Mashable, sourced from Apple Australia, has been taking a look at some of the offers already available down under. Many of the discounts appear to be around 10% off the usual prices.

For example there’s an iPod Nano in the sale reduced from the usual price of A$199 to $184 whereas if it’s an iPad you’re after then that’s reduced from A$629 to A$578, saving A$51. Bigger savings can be had on the MacBook Air 13” for instance, which is A$1,478 instead of A$1,599, a saving of $121.

Remember these prices are in Australian dollars but may give us some idea of what sort of deals there will be available in the U.S., the U.K. and other parts of the world.
