Social Site For Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010

If you’re a lover of Thanksgiving, and who isn’t, you’ll know that one of the major traditions of the holiday season is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and this year Macy’s has launched a social site for its Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010 so that everybody can join in all the fun.

The Parade is live in New York City and shown on NBC from 9am to noon on November 25 and this year some of the floats include 123 Sesame Street (NAMM), the International CELEBEARation Clock Tower (Build-A-Bear Workshop) and Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure (Nickleodean), according to the official Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade website at macys.com. There’ll also be marching bands, clowns and much more to capture the eyes and ears.

Other features will include giant balloons such as Kung Fu Panda (DreamWorks Animation) and Kermit the Frog (Disney). The online community on the site means you will be able to connect with other people interested in the Parade and even share things such as videos and photos online. You can also rate the pictures and videos. There are online games to play as well, such as spot the difference and a jigsaw puzzle. This is a website all the family can enjoy.

Why not take a look at the social site at macys.com. Are you looking forward to sharing the experience of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010? We’d welcome your thoughts on what you think of the site so feel free to send in your comments.
