With the market over-run with tablet devices, today’s news of yet another offering is no surprise. I am talking about Acer and it’s introduction of the new 7 / 10-inch devices. Acer’s aim: for everybody to share multimedia content on any device particularly the tablet.

On first looking at the latest tablets they will come with a 10.1-inch display, which incorporates a modern sleek feel with an aluminum casing and consists of fantastic features such a touchscreen, running on Android 2.2 Froyo, WiFi and 3G connectivity, dual-core 1 GHz processor, HDMI with 1080p capability, 5MP camera positioned on the back of the tablet, High Definition front-facing camera for use of video calling and complete multi-touch support. If this isn’t enough to tempt you, then Engadget reported the tablet is complete for all your entertainment needs including the accessibility to view multimedia content in Full HD on to your TV, for those of you who cannot get enough of gaming, then you can play HD arcade games and online 3D games.

In relation to the smaller of the two tablets, the 7-inch still gives it’s user a touchscreen, entertainment value, emails via social networking , video chat, HD front-facing camera, HDMI, dual-core processor with Adobe Flash Player 10.1, WiFi and 3G connectivity to name but a few. Shipping for the Acer tablet is expected to take place next April.
