Kingston HyperX Max 3.0 SSD: Teardown Video

If you understand the merits of a solid state drive you’ll appreciate this next piece of news as Kingston has revealed the HyperX Max 3.0 SSD, a SuperSpeed portable solid state drive.

The news comes to us from Vlad Savov over on Engadget, sourced from Engadget Spanish. The size of the HyperX Max 3.0 SSD is a revelation as it will fit inside a traditional 2.5-inch hard drive but when reading enables 195MB data per second and 160MBps when writing. It’s anticipated that it will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB versions.

There’s no date available yet, or price for that matter but as a teaser Engadget have supplied two videos, one showing an unboxing and another showing a teardown so you can take really good look at what’s inside, which you can see along with the full article on engadget.com.
