iPhone “Aisle411” App To Give Faster Easier Shopping

We have reported in the past about shopping apps including those of barcode scanning, and in a bid to make your experience easier and less stressful, a new iPhone app has been introduced to consumers in the form of “Aisle411.” In 2011, you will see the BlackBerry and Android devices hop on and join their counterpart. Jennifer at Mashable has said, it works on sourcing out the specific items in store so you can go straight to the aisle number, and with over 600 stores in America taking up the new idea, it is hoped to revolutionise the way we do our daily or weekly shopping.

For those of you who decide to take up this new idea will be able to search for an item by typing in or using voice commands. Included will be a store map and information, as well as feedback on items. On choosing a product this will automatically be sent to your shopping basket which will total up at the end, taking into consideration any coupons you may have.

With the surge of location-based services such as Foursquare, Facebook and Twitter, this will allow subscribers to check-in to certain places and earn badges or points. Currently Aisle411 is available in Shop’n Save’s grocers and Schnucks Market drug stores.

What do you think about this new app? Can you see it saving you time in the supermarket? Let us know. Head on over to Mashable.
