Black Friday 2010 eReader Deals: Sony / Barnes & Noble

With just a few more days left until “Black Friday 2010,” it’s a good time to have a really good think about what you are expecting to buy with your money, which store(s) you are considering visiting and finding out their opening times. Getting there early will give you more chance of getting those doorbuster deals. Today we are giving you some news on two e-readers which might take your fancy!

We are talking about the “Nook” from Barnes and Noble, and Sony’s “Reader PRS-300” both found on two different Adscans. The first is the Nook from Best Buy, offering some fantastic features such as direct connectivity to Barnes and Noble bookstore, WiFi, manageability of Google Book downloads, all this for a mere $99. On looking into this, Alex Sharp at Suite101.com has reported that the store opens at 5 am and there will be 10 of these Nooks available per store.

For those of you who prefer to shop in Walmart, will be pleased to know that Sony will be offering the PRS-300 in their stores for the same BF price. Apart from WiFi, the reader is still a great buy consisting of PDF, EPUB, good variation of book titles and Google Books. Looking on the Adscan, although it states that all items listed will be subject to availability, the Sony e-reader is advertised as “Available and can be sourced online beginning Black Friday 26 November.” News around Black Friday is always changing so it is worth bookmarking certain sites for up-to-date deals. Take TJ Maxx’s price drop with the iPad featured at $399.
