Facebook Announce November 15 Event: Revamp Messaging System?

News has come through today that online social networking site Facebook will now be holding an event next week on November 15 at 10 am. Surprisingly enough, it will not be held at it’s usual location, Palo Alto, due to the Web 2.0 Summit where CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be located, but will be positioned at Moscone Center, San Francisco. So what details have we got to tell you about this forthcoming event?

Well not really much other than snippets of information we have managed to gain from Ben Parr over at Mashable. Speculation is surrounding whether Facebook will announce a overhaul to the current messaging and inbox system. On looking at the invitation that has been sent out to designated guests, it is clearly showing an “inbox icon” which is used with their iPhone and Android apps.

It is hoped that the event will shed some light on the current messaging system, a system which people at times find difficult to use. Messages, attachments and forwarding are all restricted outside of Facebook. At this stage, we will have to wait with baited breath to find out what news is announced on Monday.
