Verizon Release Samsung Continuum/Motorola Citrus Details

Speculation is still surrounding what Android-based smartphones, if any, will be announced at the forthcoming Samsung press-event next week. Rumors have been spreading on a new range of Android running smartphones which could be the “Samsung Continuum” or the “Motorola Citrus.” At this stage, details although sketchy have come to light.

Softpedia has reported on the Continuum handsets already being spotted in stores at Verizon, following on from the display units which were already being showcased. The team over at AndroidLife have been lucky enough to capture photos of the phone arriving at stores. As well as this, announcements of a new smartphone for Verizon the “LG Vortex” has surfaced in the wild along with the Motorola Citrus being placed in a comparison listing.

Until officially confirmed, the Motorola Citrus and LG Vortex are supposedly going to incorporate support for VZ Navigator, microSD card slot with the advantage of expanding the memory up to 32GB, V-Cast video, email and messaging, accessibility to YouTube plus more.
