Samsung Galaxy Tab Stripped Down Revealing Big Battery Pack

We recently reported on Samsung’s Galaxy Tablet being confirmed for release in the UK with a variety of carriers and price plans.

Well to give you some more information about Samsung‘s answer to the Apple iPad, Engadget reported on a glimpse of the internals to the new Tab. It was said that as with most devices that get stripped down nowadays, the main feature is the battery. In this case the Galaxy Tablet is no exception, pictures showed a large white power cell taking over most of the internals. Also shown were relatively large speakers suggesting a quality sound from Tablet.

As we said Galaxy’s tablet has been officially spotted at Carphone Warehouse in the UK and news has come through of other carriers such as T-Mobile, Orange, 02 and Three offering their own pricing plans. The new tablet comes with some fantastic features such as running on Android 2.2, 4,000 mAh battery, front and rear facing cameras including video chat, 1 GHz Hummingbird app processor with 3D graphics, the ability to log onto social networking sites and much much more.
