Logitech Reveal New Wireless Solar-Panelled Keyboard

Everything is wireless these days, but it wasn’t that long ago when the wireless option meant constant changing of batteries. But as with all innovations the progression of time improves the design.

Logitech was the first to introduce wireless add ons, and now the company has taken the next step by showing off it’s new solar keyboard. The main advantage of the ambient light solar panelled device, is that you should never have to recharge it. According to a report by Engadget, Logitech claim that even left in the dark, it’s K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard can hold a charge for up to three months.

With the same 2.4GHz Nano Unifying receiver used in Logitech‘s other wireless items, you will only need to take up one USB port. It looks good too with an ultra-slim 1/3-inch design and a full layout of laptop-style keys.

Obviously it is difficult to comment on the claims of solar charge life until it has been given a few months out on the street, but first impressions seem positive. Prices are set for $80 when it hits the shop floors next month. But for now head over to Engadget to read the full press release from Logitech. Wireless has got to be the way to go, let us know if you think differently.
