Sony PlayStation Phone: More Pictures And Details Revealed

Here at OSM, we reported on news of a new Sony PlayStation Phone that could be with us sometime next year. Up until the beginning of last week, rumors were flying around of a new Android powered gaming device making it’s way to the tech world. But now the speculation can be put to rest as more pictures and details from Engadget have emerged.

Today, subsequent news from Samuel at Mashable has assured us that in a recent statement from developers Sony, they have said that although they have not outrightly confirming news of a PlayStation Phone, they have said that something similar is inevitable and that prototypes exist.

The new images of a device, are strongly indicating that this is showing one of the PlayStation Phone prototypes. We reported yesterday on the device’s codename being called “Zeus” and that in appearance it was offering the size of a PSPgo but the design of the BlackBerry Torch. Although indications are showing that Android will be running the device, prototypes are showing different versions, for example, an 8GB SD card supplementing 512MB of internal data storage. Also the device will incorporate 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a touch pad and 5mp camera.
