Tron: Legacy Trailer Music Video Features Daft Punk

For fans waiting for the next big Disney movie TRON: Legacy, there is not much longer to wait. With the scheduled release of December 17 in America and across Canada, it will only be a matter of weeks to see this epic adventure. But now with news that has come in today, you will be able to experience the trailer come music video for it. Featuring electronic duo music sensation Daft Punk’s “Derezzed”, a track from the film’s soundtrack, you will get an indication of what to expect.

The new science fiction film follows on from the original which was screened back in 1982. American actor Jeff Bridges will yet again star as the role of Kevin Flynn while Bruce Boxleitner plays Alan Bradley and Tron. According to Samuel Axon at Mashable, the film’s trailer incorporates not only some older footage but also some new including an appearance from Daft Punk. A YouTube viewer said, “Probably the first time I’ve been more excited about a soundtrack than the movie it’s in. I’ve heard similar buzz elsewhere, but you have to admit that Daft Punk and TRON are an outstanding match.” Indications show that Tron’s soundtrack will be available in stores real and virtual November 22, and a selected few can watch a 20-minute preview in 3D in IMAX at Thursday night’s “TRON Night” presentation.

Tickets for American screenings have already sold out but Mashable have said that for international viewers you may still have the option to view it on the official TRON Night website.
