White iPhone 4 Shown On Apple Store App

In the last few weeks, it has been reported that delays to the release of the elusive White iPhone 4 is purely down to the white color not matching on the home button and the handset’s faceplate. On saying this, reports came in of two separate occasions where the mobile phone was seen in the hands of British actor Stephen Fry, and the second occasion in NYC, where a seemingly normal member of the public was questioned, and asked where he had obtained it. Turns out it was from a friend who worked at Apple. The holiday season is just around the corner and it seems we are no longer closer to seeing the device, or are we?

With Apple releasing it’s latest version of their Apple Store app, the mysterious white iPhone 4 16GB and 32GB models are listed for all to see. Unfortunately, although we can view it we cannot physically order it. A message comes with,”Because of high demand, we are not currently taking iPhone reservations.” Ed at Brighthand reported that the white’s pricing is exactly the same as the black version.

Is this latest news an indication that the white version is on its way? We will have to wait in anticipation. Any snippets of information we get through we will let you know.
