The site now features WP7 integration, playable web games and for social purposes an avatar creation app where you can customize your virtual self and sport a unique look when mingling with other players over the internet. Pictures of the new additions to the website can be found over at Mashable.
“Family Reports,” a new parental control system which allows users to see how the rest of the family are using Live will also be implemented, with the Kinect launching in around 2 weeks. By adding this family feature, Microsoft are banking on the fact that it will attract more people to the Kinect such as the families of gamers who have the new console.
It has been confirmed that for the first time, cross platform play between web users, the WP7 and the Xbox will be available. It is not clear whether you’ll be able to earn Achievements or Gamer Score points when playing the web games as the Xbox Live team is yet to comment on it.
