Brammo Announce “The Enertia Plus” Electric Motorcycle

Brammo the electric motorcycle manufacturer, released their new model today being their fifth generation mode. The company based in Oregon has named it’s latest version “Enertia Plus”.

The new concept is capable of covering distances of up to 80 miles from a single charge, with speeds reaching 60 mph. A full charge will take 6 hours from any Level 1 charging station. Powered by a 6.0 kWh Lithium Ion battery designed by Brammo, the Enertia Plus provides a zero-emissions mode of two wheeled transport.

According to TechCrunch, Craig Bramscher, Brammo’s Chief Executive claims that the Enertia Plus is 92% more efficient than a current conventional powered motorcycle. He also states that by the time the Enertia lands, Brammo will have in place a electric vehicle battery recycle program.

The Enertia Plus has the added benefit of being able to take a passenger, but for those that like to ride alone, Brammo released their Empulse Trio single seat race bike. Capable of 100 mph and 100 miles on one charge, from the same battery technology.

Although orders have already been placed, delivery dates are not expected until next year. Dealerships along with select Best Buy stores, will sell the Enertia Plus with a retail price of $8,995.
