Android Offer “Angry Birds” Game For Free

News has filtered through today, of Rovio’s game “Angry Birds” being released on Android, and furthermore it will be free. Up until now this popular game has been enjoyed by iPhone users. For those of you who have not experienced this very addictive game, it emphasizes on a group of hungry pigs snatching away bird eggs. In a quest to give the birds a chance of survival, our feathered friends can use slingshots to fling themselves into fortresses. On impact they can then kill the evil pigs.

Blake Robinson at Mashable has reported that the game is available through independent mobile phone app store GetJar, whilst swiftly being followed by the Android market. For those of you interested in downloading it from your present Android handset, can do so by logging onto m.get jar.com from your mobile browser, although you may have to wait just a little longer.

Developers of Angry Birds which are based in Finland, have commented on their latest announcement by saying, “We want to make Angry Birds available for as many people as possible. Previously, many people were experiencing problems in finding Angry Birds on Android Market, but now everybody can download the game on their device.”
