Have you ever wanted to stand out in a crowd? Right now if you even had a White iPhone 4 a lot of people would notice you as people continue to wait for its release. However if you really can’t wait any longer and you happen to have a bit of spare cash then why not go for a diamond-clad version instead.
I say a bit of spare cash but for this baby, the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose, you’ll actually need a cool $8 million (around £5 million), according to an article by Stan Schroeder over on Mashable. Way back in July we told you of a $20k iPhone from designer Stuart Hughes who makes a habit of giving extreme makeovers to ordinary gadgets. The iPhone 4 featured then also had diamonds on it and we wondered who would ever pay $20k for a cell phone.
It looks as though he must have found a buyer though as this time Stuart Hughes has gone one better and his latest spectacular iPhone 4 is designed with around 500 flawless diamonds totalling over 100 ct. Also the navigation button is made from platinum with an individual 7.4 ct pink diamond. Apparently only 2 of this latest version of the iPhone 4 will ever be made although I’m surprised it’s as many as two.
A look at the Stuart Hughes website featuring this phone actually shows a purchase button. That seems pretty hopeful to me but what a thought that you could press a button online and spend $8 million just like that on a mobile phone. For more on this go to mashable.com.
