Opera Mobile Beta For Android: Full-fledged Browser

Today at an event in Oslo Norway, web browser maker “Opera” has released plans for mobile and desktop devices. One of the biggest announcements that we can digest today is of a full-fledged browser for Android models, to be named “Opera Mobile.” Along with this, reports have indicated that Opera 11 will be an improved version of Opera 10.70.

According to Robin at TechCrunch, Opera Mobile will now be accessible for Android phones and comes with hardware acceleration. Already in beta, users can expect to see this sometime in November and it will be free of charge. Opera Mini is a lightweight version to this. Users can benefit from pinch-to-zoom functions which will make for a better browsing experience. In the pipeline news has filtered through from the event, that hardware acceleration will give the user benefits such as, looking at full page width and zooming which will give better gameplay.

In relation to Opera 11 desktop browser, it will continue to develop using extensions using HTML and JavaScript as well as hardware acceleration currently being used for Firefox and Chrome.
