iPad Release In AT&T & Verizon Stores October 28

An announcement was made today, that AT&T and Verizon operators will begin selling Apple’s iPad in retail stores from October 28.

According to AppleInsider, from this date, the three iPad Wi-Fi + 3G tablets will be retailing at over 2,200 AT&T stores. In an effort to showcase the tablet alongside its 3G pre-paid contracts, plans will start at $14.99 per month for a 250MB and $25 per month for the 2GB model with no specific contract time. Users will benefit from unlimited access to AT&T’s 23,000+ domestic Wi-Fi Hot Spots. In relation to suggested retail prices, Apple will be selling the 16GB for $629, 32GB for $729 and the 64GB for $829.

If you are thinking of hot footing it down to your nearest Verizon store, customers can expect to see all six iPad models being showcased. 3G versions as above will retail at the prices mentioned. Reports have said that Verizon will incorporate the three Wi-Fi models with its MiFi 2200 Intelligent mobile Hotspot routers. Prices include: $629.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 16GB + MiFi: $729.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 32GB + MiFi and lastly $829.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 64GB + MiFi.
