iPhone 4: Embraces Yahoo Messenger App

Today, news has come through that Yahoo!, one of the biggest search engines has introduced the new “iPhone Messenger” app with voice, video calls and multitasking, available in Apple’s App Store.

This latest update, will enable you to make free voice calls to friends through your PC or other supported device. Stan Schroeder at Mashable reported that, it will give you the accessibility to make low-cost international calls using landline or mobile devices, but only in specific countries. Currently, users in America, France, Germany, Spain and Singapore can only get any benefit from this, and the longer the call, the more minutes are used up on your Yahoo account.

Video calls and live streaming one-to-one, over 3G running iOS 4.1 or Wi-Fi can also be used. This latest version will give users the advantage to set up a video call between iOS to iOS, iOS to PC or iOS to Android handsets, dependant whether the device incorporates a front-facing camera.
