Windows Phone 7 Event: First look at the new models

Today we have seen a variety of sparkling new handsets fly out of the Windows Phone 7 event and we will be giving you detail on each of them. We will be looking at the HTC 7 Trophy, LG Optimus 7, HTC 7 Mozart and the HTC HD7. Each smartphone has its own unique feature; however many of the specifications are obvioulsy the same.

So to kick off we have the HTC 7 Trophy which comes packed with a 5MP camera, 1GHz Snapdragon and 3.8-inch WVGA LCD. The phones battery cover is reminiscent of that of the Desire as it has the same matte texture and peel off method. Pictures of all of the new phones can be found on Engadget.

The LG Optimus 7 features an LCD 3.8 inch screen, a 5 megapixel camera with a 720p video mode, bluetooth 2.1, 16GB memory and Wi-fi. The Optimus 7 was one of the early leaked phones we featured earlier, along with the Samsung Omnia 7.

Next up is the HTC Mozart which sports a classy durable aluminum unibody, 3.7 inch LCD screen, 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 720p video recording, Bluetooth 2.1, 1 GHz processor, 8GB memory and like almost ever other model, trusty old Wi-fi!

The final model to be unleashed is the HTC HD7 which has arguably been the most anticipated of the phones we have spoken about. To start with the HD7 comes with a very nice 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) TFT screen, 1GHz Snapdragon, a 5MP camera with dual-LED flash also capable of recording 720P HD video, 16GB of storage and 576 MB of RAM. And of course the handset also comes with Wi-fi and Bluetooth 2.1.
