With the Apple’s iPad tablet becoming increasingly popular by the day, it would be nice for you to get the most out of your tablet without sifting through a so called instruction manual. In total there are approximately 10 tips and tricks that we know of, to get you started, from organising your apps through to sorting out the sound levels of your music.
We are going to report on just 3 out of the 10 shortcut tips and tricks. Amy-Mae at Mashable has reported on one of these, being the “AutoFill” option. This tip is provided to save the user time, in accessing anyone who might also have an iPad. If usernames and passwords for specific services are saved, the AutoFill option will automatically remember them for you. As long as “Contacts” are saved, you can head over to “Settings“, choose “Safari” and click AutoFill. Both options should be set as “On” and select your file from “Contacts” in the “My Info” Field.
Secondly, if you find yourself having to mute your iPad and need to do this quickly, then by pressing and holding down the volume button, will drop the sound down to zero in seconds. And the last tip we wanted to tell you about is, “Activating iPod Sound Check”. If you feel the need to play different songs but would prefer them to stay at one volume setting, then by navigating to the “Settings”, clicking “iPod” and then turning “Sound Check” to “On”, this will help give it the desired volume levels.
Have you managed to use any other shortcuts? If so, we would be keen to hear your news. To check out more on the 10 tips and tricks log onto Mashable
