Apple’s “Genius Lounge Concept”

With Apple’s products growing in popularity, the company needs to expand its stores to showcase the devices off to consumers. Devices such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Mac. In August we reported about the new Apple store in Covent Garden, London that had opened its doors. But today, news has been announced of a new build in St. Louis, Mo which will be the biggest of its kind in America. This time, a new feature will be included into it a, “lounge” area with free Wi-Fi.

According to AppleInsider, the new concept will offer customers the opportunity to check-in to “Genius Bar” appointments. Gary Allen at “ifo Apple Store” has said, “According to mall observers, Starbucks is soon moving its coffee sales operation to the second floor, outside the entrance to the Nordstrom store that opens in September 2011. Apple will then reportedly occupy the 592 square-feet permanent kiosk as a Genius Bar check-in space, Wi-Fi lounge and/or training space.”

AppleInsider reported that other Apple features will stay the same including the stainless steel stone flooring that we have become accustomed to.
