Droid Pro & Citrus Revealed From Verizon & Motorola

If you are in the market for a new smartphone, but are confused by which one to purchase, news of the “Droid Pro” and “Citrus” handsets may make your decision process a little easier. News has been announced today that Verizon and Motorola have come together to introduce these new devices. The Droid Pro is geared up for the business user whereas the Citrus will give a more basic feel.

According to Stan Schroeder at Mashable, both handsets will incorporate some great but totally different features. If you use your phone for business, then the Droid Pro with its candy bar feel may be the one for you. It includes a 3.1 inch touchscreen, external QWERTY keyboard, 5mp camera, 1 GHz processor, 512MB memory being backed up by 2GB of storage space on the handset. As with most phones the memory capacity can be increased with a SD card. If you are looking for connectivity then this will provide you with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and accessibility to use the handset in different countries.

For the person that just wants an easy to use phone, then the Citrus can provide this. Currently, a run down of features is a little sketchy but we do know that it will incorporate a 524MHz MSM7525 processor and a 3-inch screen. Launch dates for the two handsets has not been confirmed, but indications show that you should be able to get your hands on them by the end of this year.
