Windows Phone 7: Late October UK release with HTC Mozart

As the Windows Phone 7 saga finally draws to a close with its UK release being at the end of the month, we also have some interesting news for you on the HTC Mozart. The Mozart is also set for launch at the end of October (expected to be the 21st) which coincides with the WP7’s debut.

Microsoft are trying hard to keep their promise about the smartphone’s UK release which they made back in August; however the US will have to wait until November until they can get their paws on to one of the handsets according to Engadget. UK residents who are awaiting the WP7 release should be delighted by the fact that the phone will be offered by all 5 major network providers as well as big retailers.

Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Three have all signed up to offer the handset upon its release. The Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U will also be selling the phone to customers with different contracts and deals available. The “Revolution” is approching and will be a major talking point once it launches.

As for the HTC Mozart, it is action packed with so many new features and will certainly be expected to be a success as was the case with some of its predecessors. Some of its specifications include an 8MP camera with Xenon flash and 720p video recording, 119 x 60.5 x 11.9 mm touchscreen slate which will feature a 3.7-inch 800×480 pixel TFT LCD, 8GB of memory and Bluetooth 2.1.

Its going to be a tough choice, which will you go for? Leave us all of your opinions in the comments.

Waits for the Applesheep to come saying how horrible it was..
Even when back in the day MS took over what palm pilot couldnt do.
    The point is whatever works.

If MS can pull off syncing with office, calendar/messages/contacts, email (businesses and personal), xbox, zune as a service, social sites, skydrive, etc… then they will have something both google and apple have failed at.

I also like he Nova 4 phone and other 3D rendering engines and all the other tech coming out for WM7.
