Ryder Cup 2010: Support your team officially on Facebook and Twitter

The Ryder Cup 2010 is now only days away, beginning this Friday October 1 through to October 3. This great golf tournament is the third largest televised sporting event in the world after the Olympics and the World Cup, so there’s an awful lot of interest and many people out there who can’t wait for the action to begin.

The event is only held every two years, between just two teams, the USA and Europe and now we’ve learned through the official Ryder Cup 2010 website that you can follow the team of your choice with the PGA either on Twitter or Facebook. If you’re a Team Europe fan and Facebook is your choice of social network go here. Or maybe you’d prefer to follow on Twitter in which case click here.

Alternatively you may be a Team USA fan so you have different pages to check out. The Facebook page to follow your team is here, or the Twitter page here. All of these official Ryder Cup social media sites are giving the latest news and information and asking questions of their supporters so why not get involved with follwing your team and sharing the experience with others.

I’ve already joined one of these four sites but am attempting to stay neutral so you’ll have to guess which. For more information on the Ryder Cup 2010 go to rydercup.com. Which site will you be joining and who do you think will win the Ryder Cup this time around? We’re always interested in what you have to say so please do send in your comments.
