Apple iPad To Sell In Target Stores October 3

If you are about to get your coat on with car keys in hand, to purchase an Apple iPad from Best Buy or Apple stores, it may be advisable to wait until you have heard the latest news. It has been announced that from Sunday October 3, “Target” will be selling one of the most popular devices of this year.

For those of you who may not be aware of the name, Target is the second largest “discount retailer” in the U.S. behind “Walmart”. Ben at Mashable reported that, following on from a press conference at Target’s headquarters in Minneapolis, it was announced to everyone that the chain of stores will be selling the 16, 32 and 64GB versions in Wi-Fi and 3G models. Walmart are hoping to sell the iPad by the end of 2010.

With Target being the second largest discount retailer in the U.S., their introduction to Apple’s iPad can only boost the tablets sales.
