Windows Phone 7: Available on UK’s 5 biggest network providers

Microsoft has officially confirmed that their new model, the Windows phone 7 will be available to all 5 of the UK’s major mobile operators. The WP7 has still not been given a specific release date, but is expected to make its debut in the coming weeks.

Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Three have all signed up to offer the handset upon its release. The Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U will also be selling the phone to customers according to Vlad Savov over at Engadget. The news should not be a surprise as there is a high demand for the forthcoming phone which is being dubbed as a “revolution” by Microsoft.

The main selling points of the WP7 are going to be the multi-touch screen and an overhauled UI and the fact that the OS is able to integrate with Facebook, XBOX Live, Bing and Zune.
