RIM “BlackPad” Tablet Rumored To Be Shown Next Week

Blackberry fans or anyone who may be thinking of purchasing the latest up to date tablet, you will be pleased to learn that the new “BlackPad” may be showcased earlier than we expected. During the course of next week, at a developers’ conference in San Francisco, Research in Motion (RIM) will be pulling all the stops out to give us a glimpse of what to expect!

According to Stan Schroeder at Mashable, the latest tablet is rumoured to have some fantastic features. It will incorporate a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and connectivity to the internet, possess at least one camera if not two, and news has it that the BlackPad will run on QNX software and not OS 6 that was initially thought!

With stiff competition from the Apple iPad and the soon to be Samsung Galaxy S tablet, the BlackPad will need to make up some ground fast!

For now, we will have to wait until next week with baited breath!

Are you in the market for a new PC tablet? Will you hold off buying one until you see the BlackPad? Give us your feedback. To check out more on this log onto Mashable
