Mark Zuckerberg: Attended a showing of “The Social Network”?

Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg has maintained that he has no interest in seeing David Fincher’s film “The Social Network“, which is based on how he founded Facebook and the issues that arose from this. Many people have already said that Jesse Eisenberg portrays Zuckerberg as an anti-hero and that the character he plays is pure fiction.

However two Twitter users have said that they saw a suited up Mark Zuckerberg attending a screening in Seattle last night according to NY Mag. We must assume this is after the gaming event held at Facebook headquarters in California last night where it was announced that spam had been reduced by 40%. What adds a little more spice to the story is that Mr. Zuckerberg was supposedly also having pictures taken with fans outside of the theater.

On the other hand there is not a conclusive piece of evidence to prove Zuckerberg was there so I think it is unlikely. Also if you consider that the Facebook CEO was in Palo Alto that night, it seems a little odd as to why he would travel to Seattle when there are plenty of other cinemas closer. Personally I think he did not attend but I am sure there are plenty of people out there who will disagree. I hope Mark did attend as it would make a very interesting story, but as of now it is just a rumor.

What do you think, was Mark Zuckerberg really attending the social network in Seattle? Leave us a comment to tell us what you think.
