Samsung Tablet Released On Four Big Carriers

Great news today! We reported just a few days ago of what carriers would possibly be platforming the new Samsung Tablet, now the waiting is over. Reports in have confirmed the carriers as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Up against strong competition particularly from Apple with their own iPad, Samsung are keen to gain the top spot in terms of sales figures.

With just a short time away now until the Christmas season, Samsung are not in a position to announce prices for the new tablet. This is dependant on the carrier itself. If you are not aware of the fantastic features available on the new device, then users may want to stop what they are doing to take notice! According to Jolie O’ Dell at Mashable, Samsung will be running the tablet on Android 2.2 Froyo, Cortex A8 1GHz processor (meaning it will run faster), plenty of memory (16GB), large battery allowing up to seven hours of continuous video usage and if you rely on GPS navigation to get you from A to B, then you will be pleased to learn that a car dock will come included in the package.

With stiff competition from competitors such as Apple, Motorola and HTC, will this new tablet prove itself to be worthy? The new Samsung Galaxy S range of devices is hoped to change people’s perceptions of what Samsung is trying to achieve. Whereas in the past, the company have pushed out devices for the everyday user, latest advances are hoped to compete at the higher-end of the mobile market. For now we will have to make up our minds when further information is forwarded to us!
