When research from ABI was carried out recently, it concluded that shoppers on average will spend more than $119 billion through shopping on their mobile phones from now until 2015. News in today of the new iPhone app “myshopanion” from “Zappli” is set to start a new trend for shoppers.

According to Jennifer Van Grove at Mashable, “myshopanion” is hoped to path the way between online shopping and visiting a store. It works when the user searches a product by barcode scan, and with the help of up-to-date scanning technology “RedLaser”, it will help the user interact with their social network friends on Twitter and Facebook to make an informed decision on their purchase. This newest iPhone app works when third-party data access is provided to the user. It could be detailed information given on a product, prices and customer reviews.

From what we know about downloadable app “RedLaser”, it will give shoppers the benefit of finding the right deal within the shops.
