Nokia’s Top Man “Anssi Vanjoki” To Leave

We reported just the other day of the departure of Nokia’s CEO “Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo” who is to be replaced by Microsoft’s “Stephen Elop”. Today, news has been announced of yet another person to be leaving Nokia, and that’s “Anssi Vanjoki”.

According to Vlad Savov at Engadget, Vanjoki has only recently acquired position of “Mobile Solutions leader” which gave him the power to inject some drive into Nokia’s marketing strategies to move the company forward. Along with Anssi handing his six-month notice in to Nokia, he has also made the following statement:

“I felt the time has come to seek new opportunities in my life. At the same time, I am one hundred per cent committed to doing my best for Nokia until my very last working day. I am also really looking forward to this year’s Nokia World and sharing news about exciting new devices and solutions.”

At this present time, reports have said that Anssi has not got another position to move to and will be providing his expertise until he leaves. Unfortunately, this news has not come at a good time as Nokia are gearing themselves up for their annual event.
