New York Fashion Week 2010: Keep Updated with Twitter Microsite

The popular micro-blogging website Twitter is always creating microsites for different events. Earlier this year it created a microsite for the World Cup and now, it has created one for the 2010 New York Fashion Week, allowing fans to keep updated with all the latest news.

According to Lauren Indvik at mashable.com, the social networking site has partnered with quite a few notable names from the world of fashion to provide comprehensive coverage of the event. This includes cosmetic firm @AskBobbiBrown and industry publication @WomensWearDaily.

What’s great about the New York Fashion Week microsite is the fact that it allows users to hone in on the specific topics they are interested in. This of course could be all the behind-the-scenes gossip, news from the runway, or even interviews with the designers themselves.

However, not everyone will be interested in following the Fashion Week minute-by-minute, so Twitter has also made it simple for those people to just catch up with daily recaps and archived footage. What do you think of the new Fashion Week Twitter microsite?
