When Ben Parr at Mashable reported on this, the three updates to the Like Button consist of: The first being, that Facebook have now decided to give users the option of liking content within a Facebook application. This basically means that anything that catches your eye and you like, will appear on your News Feed and will link you directly to the application.

The second update to the Like button centres around the Facebook Pages, it has now been made possible for the person to link the Like button to their Facebook Pages. And lastly, the third change, will gives users the accessibility to display the amount of Likes a webpage has received, within the “box count” design layout. The layout, it seems, is the same as many of the web’s Share buttons.
