Demi Lovato Announces to Fans She’s Quitting Twitter

Back in August of this year, actress and singer Demi Lovato – best known for her roles in “Camp Rock,” “Sonny With a Chance” and “Princess Protection Program” – gave hints on her Twitter page that she was thinking of quitting the popular social networking website.

Well it looks like that is exactly what she is doing, but we don’t know if it will be a permanent decision. According to a recent article over at celebuzz.com, Demi took to her Twitter account on Wednesday night, to let her followers know she was taking a Twitter break.

“About to say goodbye to twitter,” she tweeted, before going on to say: “I love my fans so much but the access that the other people have is uncomfortable to me…Twitterbreak. Peace.” However, she did send out a few more tweets after then, including one to Eva Longoria Parker.

Demi made the announcement of her Twitter break on the very same night that she and the Jonas Brothers had to unfortunately cancel a concert in Tampa, Florida, due to flooding. Do you think Demi will be back on Twitter and tweeting again soon?
