Kevin Pietersen and Dimitri Mascarenhas Fined for Twitter Rants
England cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Dimitri Mascarenhas both found themselves in hot water recently, when they each took to Twitter to express themselves about two different subjects. However, the two have now been hit with some big fines for their Twitter rants.
According to a recent article at mirror.co.uk by Dean Wilson, Pietersen – who took to his Twitter page to announce that he had been dropped from the England squad – has been hit with a rather hefty fine of around £2,500, and now spells the end of the matter.

Dimitri Mascarenhas – who decided to rant on his Twitter page about the chairman of selectors Geoff Miller – on the other hand, has been fined a total of £1,000 by his club Hampshire but is still waiting on further action from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
South African-born Pietersen was summoned to Lord’s to meet with managing director Hugh Morris and team boss Andy Flower, to discuss the matter. He actually pleaded guilty to discussing team news early and to using foul language. Do you think they should have been fined?
