iPhone 4: New Nike App For Runners

Are you an iPhone 4 user, and keen on getting into shape and staying fit? Then look no further, as Nike have now introduced a new app for runners which is available to download from the iTunes link.

This latest Nike and GPS app for the iPhone is aimed at runners and will help to give them an indication of how to get in shape and staying motivated. By using an effective and accurate method, it will benefit runners by visually mapping and tracking the user’s run, be it indoor and outdoor, “free range” or on the treadmill. Runners will have the advantage of tracking distance, time and number of calories shedded.

When Jolie O’Dell at Mashable reported, another unique selling point to this new app is the “Challenge Me” feature. It gives runners the opportunity to push themselves a little harder with greater running distances and longer times with the help of encouraging messages from pro athletes and celebrities. As with lots of technological gadgets of today, it also gives users the opportunity to access their profiles on networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, and save their runs onto it.

For now, we can report that the new Nike app will be available on the iPod Touch (2nd, 3rd and 4th Generations) as well as the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and at this present time, it is accessible in English at the price of $1.99
