Dimitri Mascarenhas Twitter Rant: ECB Launch Investigation
Taking their frustrations out via the popular micro-blogging website Twitter seems to be a trend among England cricketers at the moment. First we had a Twitter rant from Kevin Pietersen, and now it appears that Dimitri Mascarenhas is following in his footsteps.
As reported by news.bbc.co.uk, England and Hampshire’s all-rounder Mascarenhas is now being investigated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), after he decided to take to his Twitter page to rant about the chairman of selectors, Geoff Miller.

A spokesman from the ECB said that they are aware of the tweet – which apparently included expletives to describe Miller – and are now investigating the matter. 32-year old Mascarenhas could well face disciplinary action for his tweet, which have now been removed.
Mascarenhas – who made his England debut in 2007 – has represented the national team in 14 Twenty20 internationals, and 20 one-day internationals. He last played for England in an ODI against Australia, at Trent Bridge in September of last year.
