Apple iPod Shuffle 2010 Specs And Price

Yesterday Apple held their keynote address where they revealed a whole line of new iPod’s, a new Apple TV and iTunes version 10 with the new Ping, which adds social media services into iTunes. For those who want the details and impressions of all the releases after they happened, check out our Apple coverage on Only Kent.

After the conference the Apple store has been updated with the new products. First up is the iPod Shuffle. The new iPod shuffle 2010 model looks more like the original Shuffle, with the buttons and scroll wheel but no screen. The device is only as small as the buttons need it to be, no bigger. It costs £45 for 2GB (£39 with additional VAT, duty and levies) or $49 in the US (with taxes added later) and it comes with free shipping and free laser engraving.

Now for the specs. The device has a battery life of up to 15 hours of audio playback. The battery should be 80% charged in two hours, and fully charged in 3. It has the regular 3.5mm stereo headphone jack and comes packed in with Apple earphones and an Apple USB cable.

For those interested in buying an iPod Shuffle, head on over to either the US store, or the UK store depending on where you live. International users can just follow either link and change the country with the flag icon at the bottom of the page. Let us know what you think in the comments.
