Kevin Pietersen Twitter: Confirms Being Dropped from England Squad
There have been a few rumors circulating recently, claiming that South African-born English cricketer Kevin Pietersen was on the verge of being dropped by England, after failing to score a century in the past 18 months. Well it appears the rumors are true, with confirmation from Kevin himself.
As reported in a recent metro.co.uk article, the 30-year old right-handed batsman took to his Twitter page recently, and confirmed that he will not be included in the England squad for the two Twenty20 matches this month or the upcoming 5-match ODI series against Pakistan.

“Yup… Done for rest of summer!!” Pietersen tweeted in response to questions about the rumors. He then went on to add: “Man of the World Cup T20 and dropped from the T20 side too. It’s a f**k up!!” However, the tweet was then removed from his Twitter page almost immediately.
Pietersen also confirmed the news that he has now signed a deal to play with the County Championship side Surrey, after choosing to quit Hampshire. An official announcement regarding the England limited-overs squads is expected at some point today (Tuesday, August 31st).
