Lady Gaga Thanks Twitter Followers for New Title
Some of you may remember the story a few days ago about Lady Gaga, and how she was expected to overtake Britney Spears to become the most-followed person on Twitter. Well, the “Bad Romance” singer has done just that, and has now taken to Twitter to thank her followers.
As reported by aceshowbiz.com, the 24-year old singer has recently dethroned Britney Spears, and has landed the title of Twitter queen herself. The eccentric star managed to achieve this title by surpassing Britney’s 5,705,684 followers on Twitter, with her own total of 5,734,532.

To thank all her fans for following her on the popular micro-blogging website, Lady Gaga – who was also in a Facebook fans battle with Justin Bieber – posted a video on her Twitter page. Seen wearing a white hat with the Twitter logo on it, Gaga introduced herself as queen of Twitter.
“I wanted to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me,” she said in the video. “Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen,” Gaga continued on to say. She then finished it off by telling her fans that she loves them, she loves Twitter and she would see them at the Monster Ball.
