Mass Effect 2 on PS3: Twitter updates
Xbox 360 and PC gamers have been able to play the “Mass Effect 2” video game since January of this year, while PlayStation 3 gamers missed out. However, Ray Muzyka – co-founder of BioWare – has just announced that the game is coming to the PS3, but not until January 2011.
As reported by Mihail Cernea at softpedia.com, the PS3 edition will include the full game, as well as some bonus content. Although at this stage it is unclear what the bonus content will be, it’s most likely going to include some (or all) of the DLC packs that are currently available for PC and Xbox 360.

Although this is great news for PlayStation 3 owners, it still may come across as strange move on EA’s part. After all – just like with many other game franchises – playing through the first game does improve the experience of playing “Mass Effect 2.”
PS3 gamers, who want to be brought up to speed with what happened in the first installment, will just have to hope that both EA and BioWare will help them out in some way. You can read more of this story via softpedia.com. Will you be buying “Mass Effect 2” on PS3?
