Motorola Droid Pro Specs: Android 2.2 update included

All the talk this week in the cell phone world seems to have been about the Motorola Droid 2 which still has not officially been announced but is rumored to be arriving with us later this week on August 12. However you may want to hold off on your purchase as it seems another Motorola Droid phone is on its way.

According to an article over on Tom’s Guide by Jane McEntegart, sourced from Boy Genius Report a Verizon roadmap for 2010/11 has been leaked and provides details of a Motorola Droid Pro. The device is set to have a 1.3 GHz CPU, and a 4-inch display along with global roaming capabilities, Android 2.2 and is scheduled for release in November.

On a separate note the Verizon roadmap also says that its expectations are that around 75% of the country will be covered by the LTE network by April 2012 and the LTE data pricing is set to cost $59.99 monthly with no details yet known about data allowance.
